Ex'tax at Accountancy Europe Tax Day

4 Jun 2017

May 30, 2017 Ex'tax was invited to contribute to the Accountancy Europe Tax Day, an annual conference addressing the challenges of a reshaping tax landscape. Accountancy Europe unites 50 professional organisations from 37 countries that represent close to 1 million professional accountants, auditors, and advisors. This year's conference theme was 'Embracing change!', focusing on:

- technology and increasingly digitalised economies
- international tax cooperation and global efforts to combat tax avoidance and evasion
- political developments in the EU and beyond, including anticipated US tax reforms.

Femke participated in a panel discussion on 'How to tax the future'.

Other speakers included Pierre Moscovici, European Commission, Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs and John Connors, Vodafone Group plc., Group Tax Director.

Participating in the event was an excellent opportunity to bring the concept of Ex'tax to the attention of tax experts and to invite them to join this research.
